Karter Bernhardt

Karter Bernhardt is a multidisciplinary artist based in Missoula.

Karter Bernhardt is a multidisciplinary artist based in Missoula. He graduated from the University of Montana with degrees in Media Arts (Digital Filmmaking Emphasis), Dance Performance and Choreography, and Psychology. He is currently employed by ERA Lambros Real Estate and co-directs Kinetic Convergence Dance with two of his biggest inspirations, Brooklyn Draper and Hannah Dusek. Karter is an actively engaged member of the Missoula dance community and feels grateful to live in such a tight-knit, supportive environment. He believes in advocating for local artists and helping out where he can, whether that be on or offstage. Karter also holds a seat on the Small Grants and Scholarships Committee of Missoula Community Foundation, which exists to support both students and nonprofit businesses in the community.
Karter is artistically compelled by collaboration, a sense of randomness, and pushing the envelope of audience expectation. He feels incredibly grateful for the community support that Kinetic Convergence has received, and cannot wait to continue building opportunities for artists in Missoula's ever-evolving arts scene. In his free time, Karter loves to spend time with his partner, Trail Gralenski, enjoying the natural world or relaxing on a night off.
